53RD EDTNA/ERCA INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is with great excitement and anticipation that I welcome you to the 2025 EDTNA/ERCA International Conference in the beautiful city of Porto, Portugal. As we gather in this historic and vibrant city, renowned for its rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality, we are reminded of the importance of coming together as a global community to advance the field of nephrology and kidney care.

This conference is more than just an event - it is a celebration of our shared commitment to improving the lives of patients worldwide. We will have the opportunity to engage with leading experts, explore the latest research and innovations, and participate in thought-provoking discussions that will shape the future of renal care. Your contributions, whether as speakers, delegates, or exhibitors, will undoubtedly enrich the experience for all attendees.

The theme of this year's conference, "Addressing Inequities in Kidney Care for a Healthier Future", reflects our collective dedication to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in kidney care. Together, we will explore new ways to enhance patient outcomes, improve quality of life, and drive positive change within our healthcare systems.

Porto, with its stunning architecture, world-famous wine, and breathtaking landscapes, provides the perfect backdrop for our conference. I encourage you to take the time to explore this remarkable city, connect with colleagues from around the world, and make lasting memories.

I look forward to meeting you in Porto and working together to inspire change and innovate kidney care for the future.

With warm regards,

Ilaria de Barbieri
