Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is with immense pleasure and anticipation that I invite you to the 54th EDTNA/ERCA International Conference, taking place from September 26–29, 2026, in the beautiful city of Gdańsk, Poland. Nestled on the Baltic coast, Gdańsk is a city rich in history, culture, and innovation—an inspiring setting for our annual gathering of renal care professionals from around the world.
As the newly elected President of EDTNA/ERCA, I am especially honoured to welcome you to this conference and continue our shared mission of advancing nephrology nursing and improving patient outcomes globally. This event is more than a meeting; it is a celebration of our commitment to professional excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
The theme of this year’s conference, “Mind Matters in Nephrology: Caring Beyond the Kidneys,” highlights the essential role of mental health and holistic well-being in kidney care. We will explore how caring for the mind is just as important as caring for the body—both for our patients and for healthcare professionals working in the kidney care field. Together, we will reflect on strategies to support mental resilience, prevent burnout, and integrate psychological care into everyday nephrology practice, ensuring that compassion and empathy remain at the heart of what we do.
Over these four days, you will have the opportunity to engage with leading experts, explore the latest research and clinical innovations, and participate in interactive sessions and discussions that will help shape the future of kidney care. The conference offers an inspiring environment for learning, networking, and sharing best practices among nephrology care professionals worldwide.
We look forward to welcoming you to Gdańsk, Poland, for the 54th EDTNA/ERCA International Conference—an inspiring event that will be both enriching and memorable.
With warm regards,
